Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy governing our relationship with you in relation to this website.

If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, Horizon Fast Ferry (“HFF”) may be unable to provide you our services. 

Please take note of the following provisions which contain the terms & conditions exempting, excluding &/or limiting the liability of HFF in respect of, among others, death, personal injury & loss of or damage to all property, including baggage. These provisions shall form part of the carriage contract between you and HFF. HFF reserves the right to amend these provisions from time to time without prior notice to you. You are advised to read these terms and conditions and the privacy policy carefully, and to purchase appropriate and adequate insurances to protect yourself and your properties.

Users of this Website and online booking platform must be at least 21 years old to access and utilise the services offered herein.

The clause headings used herein are for ease of reference only and shall not affect the construction of these Terms and Conditions.

Words implying the male gender shall also include the female gender and words importing the plural shall include the singular and vice versa.

The contents of this Website belong to HFF. All intellectual property rights are hereby expressly asserted, including all photographs and contents therein. You are only entitled to use, copy or reproduce any of the said photographs and contents with our express consent and approval.  Please contact [email protected] if you have any queries.

For the avoidance of any doubt, HFF is not agent of any of our passengers or third party service providers, including those mentioned below relating to the rental of portable WIFI equipment, Car Charter With Driver booked through our Website (“Car Charter”), travel insurance providers and travel agents. While HFF takes all necessary steps to ensure the integrity of our Website you remain personally responsible for all files downloaded from our Website, including installing the latest anti-virus, anti-malware and security patches.

 

1. APPLICABILITY

All carriage of passengers on our ferries and all services undertaken by HFF are subject to the provisions herein.

 

2. FARES

Current fares are displayed on our website. These quoted fares may be changed without prior notice. Passengers will be liable for any increase in charges, levies or taxes imposed by third parties and any respective authorities.

 

3. SEAT RESERVATION / BOOKING

3.1 You  may complete your reservations/bookings as guests or log-in with a registered account. Your  personal information will be stored securely. Registered users can access their account to retrieve and view their booking information with the booking number and e-mail address used at check-out.

3.2 Once logged in, you will be able to access your account and view your purchase history from the Website

3.3 Our obligation is only to carry you on published ferry services, and only where there are available seats on that service. It is for you to ensure that you make your reservation timely  for any ferry services on which you wish to travel, and HFF shall not be held liable for any delays in this respect.

3.4 Reservation may be done through our Website, and full passport details are required  at the time of reservation. You are responsible for entering your personal details correctly.

3.5 Bookings and reservations are on a first come first served basis and subject to seat availability.

3.6 Your booking may be  cancelled without further notice if you do not collect your boarding pass at our counters within the stipulated time frame as follows:

a. Passenger who booked through e-mail, telephone and/or by Whatapp, you are required to collect your physical boarding pass at our counters at least 1 hour before boarding. 

b. Passenger who booked through our Website, you are required to physically collect your boarding pass at least 40 minutes before departure if you did not receive your “Print-at-Home” boarding pass by email or if you did not provide HFF with a valid email address. 

c. Passenger with valid “Print-at-Home” boarding pass received by email, you are required to print a legible/clear copy of your boarding pass before proceeding directly to check-in and immigration.

3.7 HFF reserves the right to amend any of the above boarding procedures by prior notification on our Website or at our absolute discretion.

3.8 HFF accepts reservations up to 6 months from date of booking.

3.9 Amendments to Reservation & Admin Charges:

a. Admin charge per passenger for changing or amending any reservation: $10.00

b. Admin charge per passenger for the replacement of a lost boarding pass: $5.00

c. Cancellation for a refund is subject to a $20 admin fee per passenger on our website.

d. These charges are non-refundable and may only be waived (whole or in part) at our absolute discretion. 

e. Subject to the aforesaid, no fees are chargeable for amendments made online on our Website.

f. Amendments are at the sole discretion of HFF.

 

Change of travelling date & time must be emailed to [email protected] at least 2 days before the scheduled departure time, subject to seat availability. You shall be liable for any difference in fares (if applicable) and all other admin charges.

 

4. Changing and/or Cancelling Boarding Pass

4.1 If you have collected your boarding pass and wish to change or cancel your reservation, you are required to bring your boarding pass to our ticketing counter 2 days before scheduled departure time in exchange for your ticket, subject to seat availability. There will be an admin fee of $10.00 imposed per boarding pass. You shall be liable for any difference in fares (if applicable) and all other admin charges. 

4.2 If you have made your reservations through travel agents or other parties, you are required to contact them directly to make the change or cancellation.

 

5. CHECK-IN & BOARDING

5.1 You are advised to check-in and collect your boarding pass at our ticketing counter within the stipulated time frame failing which your booking will be cancelled without further notice and no refund will be made. 

5.2 You remain responsible for checking your personal details on your boarding pass for any errors as soon as you receive it and bring any errors to our attention. If you fail to inform HFF of any errors at the required time the details on your boarding pass shall be deemed to be  correct. Failure to notify and make correction may result in you being denied boarding on the ferry. HFF will not be responsible for any loss, damage, liability, or cost arising due to the boarding pass error.

5.3 You are required to check-in at the pre-immigration gate 45 minutes before the ferry departure time and advised to clear immigration 15 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure. HFF shall not be responsible for any delay on your part.

5.4 Should you miss your intended departure time, you shall be required to purchase a new ticket for  the next departure time (subject to seat availability).

5.5 If a valid email address is provided to HFF, you shall be e-mailed a Print-At-Home boarding pass for Singapore departure and/or Electronic Boarding Pass if your passport has been verified by our staff.  If for whatever reason you do not receive either or both by email, you are required to  check-in either electronically (if such service is available) or collect your boarding pass personally at our ticketing counter.

 

6. REFUSAL FOR BOARDING

6.1 HFF at its absolute discretion, may refuse to allow passengers onboard who is:

a. Not in possession of a valid ticket, boarding pass, and/or all valid travel document;

b. Failing to complete check-in process within stated time;

c. Found to be in possession of prohibited goods;

d. Failing to obey the instruction of the master and crew of the ferry;

e. In the opinion of HFF or the ferry crew consider likely to inconvenience or endanger or impair the health, safety or reasonable comfort of any person or persons whether on board the ferry or not, or endanger or impair the safety of the ferry and/or her fittings, furnishings, machinery, equipment or any part thereof.

In such circumstances HFF shall be entitled not to make any refund and HFF shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, or cost occasioned thereby.

 

7. TICKET

7.1 Only one-way or return ferry tickets are available for sale.

7.2 HFF will not be obliged to replace, refund, reimburse your ticket of any kind if it is lost, misplaced  or stolen. You will be required to purchase a new valid ticket to enable you to travel.

7.3 If your ticket is defaced, damaged or tampered with, it will be invalidated. HFF reserves the right to refuse to issue a replacement ticket in such circumstances.

7.4 If your ticket is expired, it is no longer valid for travel.

7.5 No refund shall be made for a used ticket.  

7.6 Your ticket does not guarantee you a seat. Subject to availability, you are required to make reservation/booking with HFF in order to secure a seat.

7.7 Full value of ticket purchased online is available for 6 months from the date of purchase, and can be extended thereafter every 6 months upon payment of additional  fee. Ticket not purchased online is valid until the end of the calendar year and cannot be further extended. 

7.8 All changes and cancellations requested are subject to additional fees.

7.9 Rescheduling, changes, and cancellations must be done at least 2 days before departure and can all be made directly on our Website, subject to any charges.

7.10 You are allowed to reschedule and make changes to your passenger details (except for passport number) on the Website subject to our terms and conditions herein. 

 

8. ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SURCHAGE

HFF may charge additional fare or surcharge for your ticket by Website or counter notice of at least 3 days before you are booked to travel on any service. The types of surcharges currently practiced in the travel industry are peak period, fuel & security surcharges. If HFF asks for an additional fare or surcharge, your ticket will cease to be valid for travel until you pay that additional fare.  These fares are subject to change without prior notice. If you do not agree to pay that additional fare, you may cancel your ticket by informing HFF at least 48 hours before travel, in which case HFF will refund a reasonable amount of the fare you paid for your ticket relating to any unused portions or unexpired period of validity of your ticket.

 

9. NO SHOWS

If you miss the ferry, it will be classified as a "No Show”. The boarding pass and ticket shall automatically lapse and are void. No refund, amendment or re-issuance of ticket will be allowed,  and HFF shall have no further obligation to carry you under that lapsed ticket and boarding pass.

 

10. CANCELLATION AND/OR WITHDRAWAL OF SERVICES

10.1 HFF reserves the right to alter any timetable, suspend, cancel or withdraw services, or terminate a service once it has commenced, without notice whether before or after you have reserved a seat on the service, and to substitute an alternative service.

10.2 HFF shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, or cost suffered by you as a result of any cancellation or withdrawal of any service by HFF, or any delay to any service, or termination of any service, for any reason (including our breach of contract or negligence), except as otherwise provided in any applicable law.

10.3 For cancellations and withdrawals of services, at our option and at our absolute discretion, HFF may:

a. Rebook you on the next available ferry departure without additional charges;

b. If the delay is more than 6 hours, you may claim a refund of the full amount of the fare, if no portion of the ticket has been used, or if the outward part of a return ticket has been used, 50% of the fare;

c. Provide a substitute ferry, which may lack all of the advertised facilities, and the substitute ferry may not be owned by HFF.

10.4 You hereby accept and acknowledge  that the  foregoing constitutes your sole remedy against HFF in  such circumstances.

 

11. LOSS OF ENJOYMENT

11.1 As ferry operator HFF does not have any knowledge of your purpose of travel. HFF accordingly do not accept any liability for loss of enjoyment or other losses.

11.2 As part of adding value to our services, HFF may partner with influencers and/or other businesses to  provide  relevant  travel information to enhance your travel experience and enjoyment from time to time. HFF shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from any inaccurate or misinformation provided by the influencers or other businesses. 

 

12. REFUNDS

12.1 Refunds are at the sole and absolute discretion of HFF.

12.2 Admin fee for refund (if allowed) is $20.00 per person, $3.00 per portable WIFI rental or $5 per car rental.

12.3 Refund may be allowed if you meet the following conditions:

a. If you do not wish to travel due to trip delay, refund will only be given if the delay is more than 6 hours

b. If you do not wish to travel due to trip cancellation, refund will only be given if HFF is  unable to provide alternative arrangements within 3 hours from the cancelled trip

12.4 No refund for voluntary downgrade from VIP and/or Business Class seat to Economy Class.

12.5 No refund will be given if you are denied entry by the authority for  whatsoever reason.

12.6 No refund for missed ferry & expired tickets.

12.7 No refund for lost or stolen tickets.

12.8 No refund for damaged, torn, tampered or defaced tickets.

12.9 Where a seat reservation/booking is cancelled by HFF pursuant to Clause 19 (Force Majeure Event), there will be no refund of the ticket fare.

12.10 Refunds (if allowed) will be processed within 2 to 4 weeks after the departure date. All refunds can only be done according to the original payment method or such other methods as may be determined by HFF.  

12.11 If payment is made through travel agents or other parties, you are  required to contact them directly on all matters relating to your refund. 

 

13. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS 

13.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport and all other required travel visa or documents are valid for entry at the country of destination and that the passport has a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of travel.

13.2 You should ensure that you comply with all travel and immigration requirements necessary in the country of destination and shall, if necessary, obtain all necessary visas, licences, permits, passes, certificates or documents whether for health, immigration, customs or other purposes at your own cost and responsibility.

13.3 No refund will be given in the event you are refused embarkation or entry into a country of destination by reason of your failure to obtain and/or possess a valid passport or other necessary documents or approvals.

 

14. BAGGAGE

14.1 Baggage is separately checked-in at the baggage counters that are managed by the respective ferry terminal operators.

14.2 You are required to check-in your baggage at least 45 minutes before departure time.

14.3 You may carry on-board 1 hand held baggage no larger than 50cm x 40cm x 20cm with weight per item not exceeding 10kg.

14.4 You are entitled to a total check-in baggage allowance of 20kg.

14.5 Excess baggage, up to a maximum of 20kg, will be charged in accordance with rates levied by the respective ferry terminal operators. There will also be additional charge for odd & oversize baggage.

14.6 Due to health and safety and quarantine reason, HFF do not carry animals/pets.

14.7 Foul smelling items are not allowed on-board the ferry.

14.8 The following articles are prohibited onboard the ferry:

a. Weapons of any type, including but not limited to knives, blades, or sharp items of any kind;

b. Any dangerous articles or articles prohibited by any applicable national or international law, regulation or order from being carried on ferries;

c. Any radioactive, inflammable, explosive, corrosive or poisonous articles; and

d. Any articles which may pose as a nuisance or danger to other passengers or the ferry.

14.9 HFF reserves the right to reject any baggage to be loaded onto the ferry if such baggage is deemed to be hazardous, to be a nuisance or to create an inconvenience to by reason of weight, shape, size or character, or is dangerous to the life or safety of the passengers and ferry.

14.10 HFF shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of the baggage handled by the baggage counters of the respective ferry terminal operators.

14.11 You are responsible for getting your baggage onto and off a ferry, unless there is a terminal operator at the point of departure/arrival who has assumed that responsibility. Our crew are not responsible for carrying/lifting your baggage on or off the ferries and any decision to do so on a journey is at the discretion of the Captain/crew and done so at your risk. It is your responsibility to see your baggage is placed onboard and taken off the ferry, or checked-in at the terminal where check-in arrangements apply. Except for any baggage stored in the hold, you must also look after your baggage at all times, including at the terminal and your hand baggage whilst on board.

14.12 The ferry has no facilities for and HFF has no duty to undertake the safe-keeping of the contents of the baggage and valuables therein including but not limited to moneys, negotiable securities, gold, silverware, jewellery, ornaments or works of art. HFF shall not be liable for any loss or damage to such contents should they be carried onboard by passengers.

14.13 You  shall collect your baggage(s) as soon as it is available for collection at the place of destination or stopover.

14.14 Notwithstanding the above, any uncollected baggage(s) or baggage(s) containing perishable goods may be disposed of immediately, or in any way HFF thinks fit, at the absolute sole discretion of HFF  and you shall have no recourse against HFF whatsoever.

 

15. EXCLUSION / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

15.1 HFF shall be exempted from all liability in respect of any:

a. Detention, delay, loss (whether direct, consequential, economic or otherwise), expense or damage of or to any property and baggage, whenever or wherever occurring, however and by whomsoever caused and whether due to any act, neglect or default HFF or otherwise;

b. Cancellation, alteration of voyage, change of disembarkation location or change of vessel, whenever or wherever occurring, however and by whomsoever caused and whether due to any act, neglect or default HFF or otherwise;

c. Death, personal injury, illness, detention, delay, loss of or to any passenger whenever or wherever occurring, howsoever and by whomsoever caused and whether due to any act, neglect or default of HFF, except as otherwise provided in law. 

15.2 Limitation of liability for death or personal injury to  passenger:

Further to and without derogating from or in any way depriving HFF of the benefit of any exemptions and/or exclusions contained in the foregoing, or under any applicable law, if for any reason whatsoever, HFF does not rely, is unable to rely or is precluded from relying on any of the provisions of Clause 14.1  above, in the event of death or personal injury to you, and to the extent permitted in law, HFF shall be entitled to limit its liability in accordance with its prevailing P&I insurance policy. You are therefore advised to obtain appropriate and adequate insurance coverages for your travel.

15.3 Occurrences not on-board the ferry/ services performed by independent contractors:

HFF accepts no responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of independent contractors who are not agents or employees of HFF. You agree that HFF shall not be liable whatsoever for injury, loss or damage to any person, baggage, property as a result of any act, omission or negligence of any of these contractors or any other person providing any of the off-ship services relating to the passage and you hereby release and discharge HFF from any claims for such injury, loss or damage. Independent contractors include:

 a. Providers of portable WIFI equipment rental;

 b. Car Charter hired by you and/or you travel agents through our Website;

 c. Travel insurance agents.

15.4 Benefits of Exclusion / Limitation of Liability Clause:

It is hereby expressly agreed that no servant, agent, employee or representative of HFF (including every sub-contractor of HFF) shall be under any liability whatsoever to you for any loss, damage or delay of whatsoever kind arising or resulting directly or indirectly from any act, neglect or default on his part while acting in the course of or in connection with his employment or agency and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions of this clause, every exemption, limitation, condition and liberty herein contained and every right, exemption from liability, defence and immunity of whatsoever nature applicable to HFF or to which HFF is entitled hereunder shall also be available to HFF's servants, agents, employees and representatives.

 

16. NOTICE OF CLAIM

Any claim for death or personal injury shall be notified to HFF’s personnel immediately upon disembarkation for assistance. If you are injured whilst on board, it is essential that you report to a crew member before you disembark  the vessel or else your claim may not be validated or rejected.

 

17. TIME LIMITS FOR ACTION 

17.1 To the extent permissible by law, any claim arising out of loss of and damage to baggage and property, death or personal injury to you shall be time barred and HFF shall be discharged from all liability whatsoever after a period of three months, from the date of your disembarkation.

17.2 To the extent permissible by law,  no case shall an action or claim in tort be brought after the expiration of a period of 3 months from the date of your disembarkation.

 

18. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW

The courts of Singapore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to hear and adjudicate on any claim brought herein and these provisions shall be governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

 

19. INDEMNITIES

19.1 Where you book a passage or otherwise deal with HFF through a sales agent, travel agent or other intermediary (hereinafter referred to as a "Travel Agent"), you agree and acknowledge that:

a. the Travel Agent acts solely as your agent and is fully authorised to act for and on your behalf in any matter whatsoever including but not limited to entering into a carriage contract with HFF, collecting any boarding pass issued by HFF, making, amending or cancelling any reservation, signing any document whatsoever and paying and receiving any monies;

b. all the terms and conditions herein shall form part of any carriage contract concluded by the Travel Agent for and on your behalf;

c. HFF shall not be liable for any act, neglect or default of the Travel Agent;

d. HFF shall not be liable to refund any monies paid by you to the Travel Agent for onward transmission to HFF or for other purposes which the Travel Agent failed to do or to re-issue any boarding pass, which has already been issued and delivered to the Travel Agent.

19.2 In the event the Travel Agent fails to remit to HFF any monies paid to it by you for whatever reason, you shall be and will remain liable for all  sums due to HFF on demand.

19.3 You shall reimburse and fully indemnify HFF and hold HFF harmless against all or any liabilities, losses, claims, damages, expenses and/or delay of whatever nature, sustained or incurred by, or made upon HFF, whether directly or indirectly by reason of your negligence, breach of duty or failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

19.4 You shall be held responsible for and shall indemnify HFF against any damage caused by you  to any property of  HFF, including but not limited to the structure, machinery, gear, fittings, furnishing, equipment and appliances of the ferry and the ferry’s landing stage and terminal buildings. 

 

20. FORCE MAJEURE EVENT

HFF shall have no liability for any delay or failure to carry you, or for breach of contract, where it is caused by  circumstances beyond HFF’s control whether directly or indirectly. The following shall be considered to be circumstances beyond HFF’s  control including but not limited to: war or threat of war, accidents causing delays on the service route, exceptional severe weather conditions, fire and/or damage at a terminal or jetty, compliance with requests of the police, customs or other government, officials and security services, deaths and accidents at sea, vandalism and terrorism, breakdown or damages to the ferry, unforeseen traffic delays including but not limited to any delays caused by the need to re-fuel the ferry, strike/industrial action, riot or local disturbance or unrest, problems caused by other customers, the ferry being held or delayed by a police officer, customs official or governmental official, approval of relevant governmental department of the countries concerned being refused on grounds of national security etc, bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of trade of any carrier used by HFF including code-share carrier, and other circumstances affecting your safety.

 

21. PASSENGER’S BEHAVIOUR

21.1 To maximise passengers’ safety and comfort, all passengers shall comply with the following requirements and all other directions of the crew members on the voyage when onboard, including but not limited to the Terms and Conditions herein.

21.2 Required behaviour and prohibited behaviour:

a. You warrants that you are fit to proceed and that you will not in any way be a nuisance to other passenger and/or that your conduct will not in any way cause any inconvenience, endanger or impair the health, safety or reasonable comfort of any person or persons whether on board the ferry or not, or endanger the safety of the ferry and her crew and/or her fittings, furnishings, machinery, equipment or any part thereof.

b. In the interest of security and safety at sea and in the public interest, you agree and hereby consent to a reasonable search being made of you and baggage and property whether physically, by way of screening, scanning, or otherwise and to the confiscation of any item which may, in the opinion of the personnel conducting such screening or search, inconvenience or endanger the safety of the ferry and/or her fittings, furnishings, machinery or equipment or any part thereof. HFF and/or its agents shall be entitled at any time without giving reasons restrain and remove you from the ferry or terminal, refuse your further passage, and take any other measures, who, in the opinion of HFF, is likely to inconvenience or endanger or impair the health, safety or reasonable comfort of any person or persons whether on board the ferry or not, or endanger or impair the safety of the ferry and/or her fittings, furnishings, machinery, equipment or any part thereof, without incurring any liability whatsoever. Whilst HFF will use reasonable efforts to control the behaviour of other passengers on a ferry or at a terminal, HFF will not be liable to you for any act or omission of any passenger on a ferry or at a terminal.

 

22. FITNESS OF THE PASSENGER TO TRAVEL

22.1 Passengers who are pregnant, or have any form of sickness, disease, injury, infirmity, disability or illness, whether mental, physical or otherwise which could affect their fitness for travel or for any other reason is likely to impair the health, safety or reasonable comfort of others shall:

a. Disclose their pregnancy and the stage thereof, sickness, injury, infirmity, disability or illness, as the case may be, to HFF at the time of reservation of passage.

b. Submit to HFF prior to travel/sailing a medical certificate issued by a qualified medical practitioner certifying and confirming their fitness for travel.

22.2 If necessary, be accompanied and assisted by an able-bodied person of their choice and costs, who shall be responsible for their health and safety at all times including the period of transit.

22.3 Reimburse and fully indemnify HFF and hold HFF harmless against any losses, claims, damage, costs, expenses and /or delay, of whatever nature sustained by HFF, whether directly or indirectly, and arising out of or in connection with their pregnancy, sickness, disease, injury, infirmity, disability, other medical conditions or illness, as the case may be.

22.4 Female passenger who is more than 28 weeks pregnant is prohibited from travelling on board the ferry unless a valid medical certificate is issued by a qualified medical practitioner certifying and confirming fitness to travel is provided.

22.5 Passenger who require special assistance or special arrangements to be made while on board the ferry shall inform HFF at least three days before departure. HFF will take all reasonable steps to comply with and/or accommodate the passenger’s request but the provision of special assistance/arrangements is solely subject to availability and at the discretion of HFF.

22.6 HFF shall be entitled at any time, without giving reasons,  refuse passage to any passenger who is pregnant, or has any form of sickness, disease, injury, infirmity, disability or illness, whether mental, physical or otherwise or to cancel any reservation made by or for such passenger, without any liability whatsoever on the part of HFF.  

22.7 If any such passengers are unfit to travel as specified in the clause herein, but nevertheless has embarked or being the guardian allow any such person for whom he is responsible to embark without such disclosure and consent as aforesaid having been made and obtained, he shall indemnify HFF against all loss, damage and expense incurred directly or indirectly by the ferry in consequence of such medical condition, sickness, disease, injury, infirmity or exposure, including any claims made against the HFF howsoever and whensoever arising, and any costs of defending the same, which HFF may incur or pay to third parties arising out of the embarkation of such person on the ferry. 

 

23. ENTIRE AGREEMENT CLAUSE 

These terms and conditions shall form part of the carriage contract and all prior understandings and agreements heretofore entered into between you and HFF, whether written or oral, are superseded by these terms and conditions, which alone fully and completely express the agreement between you and HFF.

 

24. SEVERABILITY

Each paragraph, sub-paragraph, clause, sub-clause, article, provision contained in these terms and conditions shall be severable and should any such paragraph, sub-paragraph, clause, sub-clause, article or provision shall be held to be invalid, void, unenforceable or inapplicable, the remaining paragraphs, sub-paragraphs, clauses, sub-clauses, articles and provisions shall nevertheless have full force and effect.

 

25. CAR CHARTER

25.1 Current fares are displayed on our Website. These quoted fares may be subject to change without prior notice.

25.2 If you shorten your booking date and a refund is required, a fee of $5 will be deducted from the total refund.

25.3 Cancellation fee is $5.

25.4 The full amount paid for the car charter is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

25.5 You acknowledge that HFF merely facilitates for your convenience, private chartering of vehicle with driver between you and the Car Charter through HFF’s website. The vehicle hired and/or chartered is not property of HFF and that HFF is not an agent of the private charters and/or driver of the Car Charter. HFF do not vouch for or warrant the condition or roadworthiness of the vehicle hired through Car Charter or the competency of the driver. Further HFF shall not be held responsible if the quality of services provided by the Car Charter or the standard of the driver is below your expectation. HFF shall not be liable for any acts or omissions of the driver and/or the Car Charter and/or all costs loss or damage that may arise as a result of the driver and/or Car Charter, including but not limited any of the following relating to your Car Charter: any accidents, vehicle damages, negligence or misuse, loss of parts, fines, penalties, charges or penalties arising from violations, tolls, repairs, towing, or claims of any other nature. 

25.6 HFF reserves the right to request for further information in addition to information provided by you  for verification purposes. If any of such information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete or untrue, HFF reserves the right to cancel the booking at any point.

25.7 HFF reserves the right to cancel the booking at any point, including prior to the confirmed booking date for reasons including but not limited to the discovery of fraud, illegal activity, insolvency or bankruptcy of the passenger.

25.8 HFF is not responsible for any miscommunication between the passenger and driver of the Car Charter but will endeavour to help resolve any issues.

25.9 The following extra charges are to be paid directly to the driver: 

a. OvertimeCharge: IDR50,000/hour after the 10th hour

b. Late Night Charge: IDR250,000 surcharge for pick-up between 00.00 and 06.00.

 

26. PORTABLE WIFI RENTAL

26.1 Rental of portable WIFI devices to be used in Batam or Singapore.

26.2 WIFI rental is subject to the following terms: 

a. Current fees  are displayed on HFF’s Website . The quoted fees  may change without prior notice. 

b. You  are required to return all WIFI devices fully charged and  in its original condition. You  are responsible for the use of the device and shall be liable for any loss or  damaged device, or are found not to be in a good working condition. In such cases, the security deposit shall be forfeited at the sole discretion of HFF.

26.3 Missing items are subject to the following fees: 

a. Each additional day - $7/day

b. Missing SIM/pouch/charger/powerbank - $10 each

c. Missing portable WIFI: $50

26.4 HFF reserves the right to charge the credit card originally used to pay for rental device(s) not returned 3 days after end of rental date for up to $100/unit.

26.5 Cancellations will incur a $3 fee.

26.6 If you shorten a booking date and a refund is required, $3 will be deducted from total refund to the original payment method.

26.7 HFF will not be obliged to refund or reimburse passengers for cancellation of any confirmed order (if applicable).

26.8 The full value paid for the WIFI device is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

26.9 You shall notify HFF should the device (or accessories) be misplaced,  stolen or damaged immediately.

26.10 HFF shall be not held responsible or liable for any loss, unavailable or interruption of accessing internet access during the period of rental. While the possibility of such circumstances is low, passengers shall accept the possibility of service loss, interruption, or unavailability due to Mobile Network issues that can affect the Internet access.

26.11 You are responsible for the collection and return of the WIFI device. 

26.12 The WIFI device may be collected at HFF’s office at Batam. 

 

27. TERMINATION

Termination by HFF

27.1 Terms and Conditions herein shall remain in full force and effect while you use this Website or the services. HFF may terminate or suspend your access to the services or your membership at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your membership. HFF may also terminate or suspend any and all services and access to this Website immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of the Terms and Conditions herein.  

Effects of Termination

27.2 Upon termination of your HFF Account, your right to use the services, access this Website, and any content will immediately cease. All provisions of this Terms and Conditions, by their nature, should survive termination, shall survive termination, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

27.3 If your HFF Account is terminated as a result of your breach, HFF reserves the right to cancel any outstanding Horizon Points you may have purchased prior to said termination, without refund or liability to you.

 

28. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is provided by 3rd party insurer, Moneysmart Financial Pte Ltd who have their own terms and conditions. Passengers who purchase the travel insurance through our Website are bound by Moneysmart’s terms and conditions. You are required to contact Moneysmart directly for any question pertaining to your travel insurance. HFF is not an agent of Moneysmart and shall not be liable for any act, neglect or default of Moneysmart.

 

29. AMENDMENT/CLAUSES OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

29.1 HFF may from time to time update these Terms and Conditions to ensure that it is consistent with future developments, industry trends and/or any changes in legal or regulatory requirements.

29.2 Any amendments or changes that HFF may make to the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice in the future will be posted on this page. Your continued use of HFF services after changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes your consent and agreement to any changes or updates.
