If you are heading to Batam with Horizon Fast Ferry, there is an important update you’ll want to know before you travel: our ferry counter has moved. The familiar HarbourFront Centre terminal is no longer where you’ll check in — Horizon Fast Ferry, along with the rest of Singapore’s regional ferry operators, now operates out of the new Singapore Cruise Centre, located at 5 HarbourFront Avenue, just next to the old terminal.
This guide walks you through exactly how to get to Singapore Cruise Centre, whether you are arriving by public bus, MRT, or via VivoCity — so you can head straight there without any guesswork on travel day.
Getting to Singapore Cruise Centre from the Bus Stop
If you are arriving by public bus, look out for the stop labeled ‘Opp HarbourFront Int’ (Opposite HarbourFront Interchange). From there, the walk to Singapore Cruise Centre is short and straightforward. Head toward Bank of America Merrill Lynch, cross at the traffic light, and continue past Keppel Bay Tower. Next, walk along HarbourFront Avenue, which leads you straight to the main entrance of Singapore Cruise Centre. The entire walk takes only a few minutes and is well signposted along the way.
Getting to Singapore Cruise Centre from HarbourFront MRT (Exit A)
If you are taking the MRT, get off at HarbourFront station and head out through Exit A. From the exit, you’ll cross a pedestrian bridge that brings you out near the ‘Opp HarbourFront Int’ bus stop. From that point, the route is the same as the bus stop directions above — past Bank of America Merrill Lynch, cross at the traffic light, past Keppel Bay Tower, and walk along HarbourFront Avenue until you reach Singapore Cruise Centre. However, keep in mind that this route involves taking the stairs, which can be inconvenient if you are carrying heavy luggage.
Getting to Singapore Cruise Centre from HarbourFront MRT (Exit B)
Exit B has traditionally been a popular route, taking passengers out through HarbourFront Centre itself and past HarbourFront Tower before reaching Singapore Cruise Centre. However, with HarbourFront Centre’s permanent closure on 27 July 2026, this route may no longer be available after that date. If you are travelling before the closure, this path still works as usual; but to avoid any last-minute detours, we’d recommend using Exit A or Exit E instead, especially if you are travelling on or after 27 July 2026.
Getting to Singapore Cruise Centre from HarbourFront MRT (Exit E)
If you take Exit E, you’ll actually walk through part of VivoCity on your way to the terminal, which is not a bad thing if you want to grab a quick coffee or snack before your trip. From Exit E, head into VivoCity at level B2, then take the escalator up to B1. Walk through the mall, then take another escalator up to Level 1, and exit VivoCity from there. Once outside, cross Harbourfront Walk to HarbourFront Centre, continue past HarbourFront Tower, and you’ll arrive at Singapore Cruise Centre via the building’s rear entrance.
Getting to Singapore Cruise Centre from VivoCity
If you’re already at VivoCity — whether you have just finished shopping or arrived by taxi or private car — the walk to Singapore Cruise Centre is simple. From VivoCity, follow the outdoor path known as HarbourFront Walk, which leads you to HarbourFront Centre. From there, continue past HarbourFront Tower, and Singapore Cruise Centre will be just ahead.
Plan Ahead for a Smooth Departure
Whichever way you are arriving — by public bus, MRT, or on foot from VivoCity — getting to Singapore Cruise Centre is a short and manageable walk once you know the route. Since this is a new terminal, we’d recommend giving yourself a little extra time on your first visit, especially if you are checking in during peak travel hours.
Once you arrive, simply head to Level 1 to find the Horizon Fast Ferry counter, complete your check-in, and you’ll be ready to board. Safe travels, and we’ll see you on board!
