The new HarbourFront terminal is designed around convenience. You’ll find self-service check-in kiosks, self-service bag drop, and a dedicated counter for odd-size baggage, so getting through the terminal takes minimal effort. Once you’re checked in, there’s plenty to keep you occupied \u2014 duty-free shopping, food and beverage outlets, money changers, ATMs, and travel SIM card services are all close by, along with public toilets, a nursing room, and a prayer room. If you’re driving in, the terminal also offers car parking with EV charging stations, and eligible guests can relax in the VIP Cruise Lounge before boarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With most of these clustered around the check-in area, you can knock out everything you need \u2014 food, cash, and a SIM card \u2014 before you even reach the boarding gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re an ASEAN passport holder or traveling on a Visa on Arrival (VOA), and you have zero or one bag, you can skip the counter entirely and use the self-service kiosks. Just select your ferry operator on the screen and scan your passport. If you have no checked bags, choose “Boarding Pass Only” and head straight to Departure Level 2. If you have one bag, choose “Boarding Pass and Bag Tag” instead \u2014 the kiosk will print a tag for you to attach to your luggage before you proceed to the Self-Service Bag Drop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traveling with multiple bags, oversized items, or a passport that isn’t eligible for self-service? No problem \u2014 just head to the manual check-in counters to get your boarding pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once your bag is tagged, dropping it off takes less than a minute. Scan your passport at the bag drop station, place your bag on the conveyor belt, then scan the barcode on your bag tag with the hand scanner. If your bag weighs under 20kg, the system will automatically weigh and accept it \u2014 just collect your printed bag receipt and head to Departure Level 2. If it’s over 20kg, the machine will flag it, and you’ll need to proceed to the manual counters to pay for excess baggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For food and drinks, Level 1 has Anua Caf\u00e9 (#01-13) for coffee and light bites, plus Old Chang Kee (#01-12) if you’re craving a curry puff before boarding. Head up to Level 2 and you’ll find Subway (#02-13) for sandwiches and salads, along with Tuckshop (#02-10\/11) for a quick, casual local meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For duty-free shopping, Singapore Duty Free has outlets on both sides of the terminal \u2014 one in the Arrival Hall on Level 1 (#01-01\/02) for liquor, tobacco, and confectionery, and another in the Departure Hall on Level 2 (#02-08\/09) for perfumes, cosmetics, and spirits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
